Welcome to iLaser Vision, where we are committed to improving the lives of people in our local community by giving them the freedom from the restrictions of  spectacles and contact lens wear.

iLaser Vision was set up by Dr Eugene Hollenbach to treat people with Presbyopia with leading techniques, and assist Cataract patients who are still not spectacle independent post operatively. iLaser Vision is located within the Newcastle Eye Centre Practice, one of the region’s leading eye specialist clinics.

I am a leader within Newcastle & the Hunter Valley in the field of Ophthalmology. I am a Sydney trained ophthalmologist and have undertaken extensive further training in London. I give lectures on numerous eye topics to local optometrists and am involved in teaching trainee ophthalmologists. I’ve performed in excess of 20,000 cataract procedures and have been involved in refractive surgery for over 10 years. I have developed my techniques in clear lens replacement surgery over this time and offer industry leading techniques to enable you to attain spectacle independence.
